A cellist and a painter, Eunju Park sees music in colour. In the Color Symphony series, each canvas is a key and each stroke a note — painting you listen to as much as you look at.

« Color Symphony · états d'âme »
Created in Paris in 2023, this interactive, multisensory exhibition brings together some forty works where colour weds sound. Each canvas becomes a movement, each key a state of mind — a journey now shown around the world.

A cellist and a painter, Eunju Park is synesthetic: she sees music in colour. Born in Seoul and trained across South Korea, Canada and France, she studied the cello in Paris under leading masters, won first prizes at the Turin and Paris chamber-music competitions, joined the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and founded the Gaïa Quartet. In 2023 she created "Korean Color Symphony", a multisensory exhibition where each canvas translates a musical emotion. Her paintings read like scores: strokes lined up like notes, each work in its own key.
